Mercy Heart & Vascular Institute's CHAMP® and Heart Smart programs received the Gold Seal of Approval™ from The Joint Commission (TJC). This means our programs comply with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care.
Mercy is a unique healthcare provider in that we offer an extensive continuum of care, including emergency heart attack care, intervention and surgery, research, cardiac rehabilitation and ongoing disease management. CHAMP® and Heart Smart both fall under the latter category as outpatient cardiac disease management programs. Through these innovative programs, Mercy Heart & Vascular Institute staff provide ongoing health assistance to individuals with high cholesterol and congestive heart failure. |
