Recently, the Mercy cardiac care network has added many new and vital health centers at many of our facilities. With these additions and others in progress, Mercy continues to build and grow to meet the future cardiac needs of the communities we serve.
At Mercy General Hospital, construction has begun on the Alex G. Spanos Heart Center. This state-of-the-art facility will provide a technologically and aesthetically superior environment to provide the highest level of services and healing available.
At Mercy San Juan Medical Center, ground has broken on a $125 million expansion project, which will include a new 6-story wing in the hospital that will bring 110 additional patient care beds to the community.
At Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, a newly-expanded emergency room was opened in February 2009. The new modern emergency room is equipped with innovative technology systems and staffed with highly specialized surgeons and medical professionals to provide life-saving care to patients.
At Mercy Hospital of Folsom, the Cummings Emergency Pavilion was opened in June 2008. The new pavilion meets the area's emergency healthcare needs with an expanded and highly-trained, dedicated staff, two critical resuscitation rooms and two specialized treatment rooms. |
